    Hi all,
Wondering if ye can help. Know when you create a new adjustment layer?
It opens in one of those f**king palettes/tabs? How can you get it to open the actual adjustment window instead?
The same as if you to to Image Menu -> adjustments -> levels the levels dialog appears.

    thanks

What type of adjustment do you want to make. Ctrl+M is for curves and Ctrl+L for levels.

You want the modal dialog box and not a pallet when you apply an adjustment layer?

Just tear it off and select expanded view from the menu on the top right of the pallet/window.

Sorry this is a hard one to explain. YOu know the dialog for levels/curves if you just create an adjustment? (NOT an adjustment layer) ie press ctrl-L for levels? you get the full featured dialog. If however you make an adjustment layer you get a stripped back version with half the functionality hidden in menus. I did tear it off but the dialog remains the same cut down version.

I get what you want. When you apply a Curves adjustment layer you want the normal Curves dialog box to appear like in older versions of Photoshop.

If you select the menu at the top right of the pallet you can selected expanded view and it has pretty much everything you get in the normal box.
