You could call both these planes Jumbow Jets.

Almost a repeat of Tenerife 1977.

Listening to the audio on liveatc.net i think the incursion had already happened and it was a coming together that was avoided thanks to the quick thinking of ATC

Anyone remember the US airways and Aer Lingus one a few years back both off different runways would of rotated on take off straight into each other only for the Aer Lingus pilots spotted it just in time

What did the EI pilots do to avert it? Did they rotate early?

Oh that video seems clearer i thought it was the EI pilots delayed rotation obviously the other way around
