Ok .... I admit that Pamela is SLIGHTLY involved with this thread - but only to the extent that I'm using her as an example.
    Question 1:
Why isn't any of the newest judgement (that she lost) been mentioned in any of the main stream media? (Or even in the non-main stream media!!) Not a newspaper or station has taken this up. Why???

Question 2 (The REAL question for this thread.)
Is the Dail interfering with Press Freedom??
I find it quite remarkable that Pammys latest ECHR result that she lost hasn't been reported on at all!! ANYWHERE!! Could it be because the FG Party (before they were in Gov.) supported her application to stay? And now want the whole thing to go away while they let her stay - under the radar?
And therefore they are pressuring this countries 'meeja' to let sleeping dogs lie?

More to the point (yes - conspiracy theory!) and the reason for this thread is - IF this theory holds water what else is the 'fourth estate' being forced to 'not report on'?

    Anyone got any answers?

Every state controls it's media. Where it's that foreign burd ./.............../,., it's all the same. If you want to change the way news is reported then use your vote next election.

Remember RTE not reporting the IMF being here when every other news organisation in the world was. Irish media is ****.

Especially when you have over paid talentless Turd$ sitting back collecting wages from a TV license that should be optional if your dumb enough to have an interest in RTE, half those tools at RTE would not get a job on an open market and the other half are only there to keep the pensioners feels secure in a familiar face.

The greatest thing about the internet and sites like Boards.ie is that the old contolled, corrupt media outlets are always two steps behind
