french national channels

    i am interested in installing the french national channels apparently uses freesat (tnt sat). The channels of interest are:

    TF1
    France 2
    France 3
    France 4
    France 5
    M6
    ARTE
    France 0
    Direct 8
    W9
    TMC
    NT1
    NRJ
    LCP
    BFM
    EUROPE TV

    Any idea what satellite i should point my satellite dish at

    TNT Sat is on Astra 1 at 19e.
    Fransat is on Atlantic Bird 5 w.

    They are NOT FTA......Both systems are FTV. ie. they need a dedicated box and FTV Card.

    Not entirely true - 5W will give you France 2,3,5,O and LCP FTA
    You can also get Arte FTA on other sats 19E and 13E

    5 degrees west and one or both of 13 degrees east and 19 degrees east will give you a fair 'wedge' of free French TV, 5 west have free French channels that 13 + 19 degrees east does not have and 13 + 19 degrees east have free French channels that 5 degrees west does not have.
