BBC Regions, ITV Regions inc ITV2,3,4 inc. +1 & Channel 5 gone messing from Sky Box

Hi all,

Myself, my Bro & my Mam got Sky Digital into the house yesterday afternoon.

Downstairs in the Sitting Room has the HD+ box and BBC Regions (1&2), ITV1 Regions (UTV also) inc ITV2,3,4 inc. +1 & Channel 5 havnt gone messing but Upstairs in my Bro & I bedroom after tidying up the bedroom and replugging everything in the box didnt get back BBC Regions, ITV Regions inc ITV2,3,4 inc. +1 gone messing from from SkyHD Box (not a HD+ box). Rang Sky at 5 to 12 today, got through and was passed onto the tech team after 22mins and he said it will take 72 hrs to get back. Is that right if anyone knows or is there a faster way of getting them back or do I have to wait until Friday at 12pm??

if you are paying sky you should have rte1 on 101.

itv channels, ch5 are only availble via other channels.

If they were available through the "Other Channels" option, you'll have to tune them in again - there's a sticky at the top of the page detailing how to do this.

There are some boxes that sometimes lose all the channels stored in "Other Channels".

BBC1 London comes under 101 with RTE1
BBC2 England comes under 102 with RTE2
ITV1 South comes under 103 with TV3

These are on the downstairs one with the others too

Also I've tryed retuning and nothing or else give me step by step to do it right

They were there before we tidyed up the bedroom - after replugging in the whole lot in like TV and box, turned on the box and they were gone

Those channels are only available on the UK EPG (channel menu/list). When Sky is initially set up in Ireland it will have the UK EPG until an over air update change the card and menu to the Irish EPG. On occasion things get slightly messed up like you described "BBC1 London comes under 101 with RTE1" When you powered down the bedroom box it rebooted and went to the way it is meant to be. The sitting room box will more than lightly switch to the correct EPG in the next day or two.

You can manually tune those channels in using the sticky at the top of the page - UK FTA TUNING GUIDE - BBC/ITV/C4/C5/HD & MORE!
