Battery or charger issue, not sure which

I have a TL-15 battery charger, I haven't used this or any of my batteries for about 18 months. When I try to charge them I set the charger correctly but the charger stops before they are fully charged.

The first one I tried was a 1500Mah small type and the capacity only went to 160. Am I correct in thinking that the cpacity should go to 1500 or thereabouts? Also the battery didn't get warm or anything. It then didn't even empty a hi-cap mag before it died.

I just tried charging it again and the capacity got to 260, when it beeped and switched to slow charging, I just pressed the button to fast charge again and the capacity went to 430 this time before it stopped.

I also tried a couple of other batteries and they were the same. Should the capacity match the Mah figure or is that wrong?

Thanks, looks like they all need a trickle charge then.

dude i think its a few charge/discharge cycles they need.could take a whole day to complete.never done it myself so dont know how effective it will be.

upon further reading of the artical it does say trickle charge and further down it says cycling,so its take your pick i suppose
