Swedish Badminton Coach

    Maybe I'm totally wrong here and would be interested to hear from someone in the know.
    Why are Badminton Ireland trying to make a big deal about an elite Swedish coach doing some sessions in Ireland. I presume to some expensive also.
    My questions are;
    Are Sweden such a badminton power that they are so far ahead of Irish elite coaches ?
    Should Irish coaches not be doing similar sessions throughout the year, around the country rather than someone being brought in off-season with some one-off sessions ?
    If Irish coaches are not up to this standard yet, surely this should be a priority ?
    Should Badminton Ireland make a bigger effort to bring in elite coaches from some of the badminton powerhouses such as China, Malaysia, Indonesia & even Denmark ?
