Good Garage for Hondas - Limerick Area

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a garage that is good with Honda's in the Limerick area?

Preferably not any main dealers as I have had the car with them before and found them quite expensive.

There seems to be some kind of a power lag in my Honda Accord diesel 2.2. When I try to accelerate, the car does not take off like it used to. Instead, it slowly moves along for about 5-6 seconds before finally accelerating. I have the same issue in all gears - it is not just in first.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have the same car it sounds like you could have a problem with the turbo manifold but for such an issue i would recommend a quick visit to the Honda Main dealer as they can diagnose it quicker when they hook it up to the diagnostic equipment. you could ask for the diagnostic alone at a pre arranged price then price the job elsewhere once you know what the issue is..often you can spend a lot more money going to guys not well up on car type and end up going back to the dealer
