    Hi, I'm just starting off. I've never built a bike before but have a frame that was in the garage just rusting. I would appreciate if anybody could help me. I'm not looking for a great bike just a cheap way to start off. what parts will I need? and any suggestions where to buy them? would really apprreciate anybodies help

    How old is the frame and what type of frame is it? MTB? ROAD? Hybrid? BSO?

    If a frame is all that you've got then you'll probably find a full bike for less than it will cost you to buy the rest of the components you'll need to build the bike. Or you could always head in to Rothar with it.

    I've been told about rothar and I think thats a smart idea, you're probably right I might have to just buy a bike

    if you don't have the green to just buy a whole bike, then a slow build might suit you. whatever you can do... pic would be helpful :) while youre at it measure the frame, between the top of the seatpost collar and to the centre of the bottom bracket, the bike may not even fit you!
