    Hey everyone

My bf is doing his test in a couple of weeks and I'm just wondering if the headford road roundabout (the one with the lights near Tesco) will be part of the test route??
He's had a few pre-test lessons and the instructor said he might be brought out there, but when I did my pre-test for my driving test in October last year my instructor said that they don't bring you out there at all!
Can anyone help me with this query? thanks :)

you are 100% definitely NOT brought out to that roundabout, nor anywhere near that direction. i had my test last week and covered all the areas that i could have been brought on. i don't know westside that well to tell you the exact roads but it's basically all around the westside, claddagh, knocknacarra etc area.
there are a few different routes so i do recommend your bf gets to know them beforehand if it's a thing he's not familiar with hazards eg:there are roadworks in some areas so this is could to be aware of etc.
i got lessons on the 2days leading up to the test, and one before my test and i passed with only one grade 2, almost a clean sheet. if you need a name for driving instructor dont hesitate to pm me, i owe him that much after all the great tips he gave me and all he crammed in in the short time he had to help me. legend is all i'll say. anyway best of luck to your bf, hope he is successful :)

Hi there, I have someone doing test next week & having doubts -a bit late I know- about instructor. Do you know where you did your hill start or reverse around coner? Did you have any probs with roadworks? I don't know how to PM you, but if you could PM me with that instructors name it would be great. Thanks & CONGRATULATIONS :D
