Does anyone know if and how the tolltag.ie pre paid tag can be used to pay for parking in dublin airport or bewleys car park? And if so, whats involved? Their website is less than helpfull, they do have a short video which may explain, but i'm in work at the moment so i can't hear it.

Do you mean Quickpark at Dublin Airport or DAA Carparks ?

Hi Zener, sorry for the late reply!
Any carpark will do. The tolltag website has a link to quick park and bewleys car parks, as if to imply you can pay with the tag, but it doesn't seem to be an option when you go to book, they ask for a credit card number. I'm just wondering what the story is. I usually park in bewleys and pay by credit card, but recently i have a fair bit of credit built up on the tag, which i would use if i could.

To my knowledge DAA Carparks don't use the tolltag.ie system.

You're right though, it's not at all clear on any of the connected companies websites how exactly you avail of the system !! Probably best to call them ? Also point out the confusion and lack of info on their site. The video doesn't really explain how you use the Tag, only how to use your pre-booked service paid for online with a credit/debit card. No mention at all anywhere about the tolltag connection.

Might be useful to tell everyone here how you get on with this ?

Also, the DAA website shows parking for a week at about 7 euro cheaper than the other 2 private companies !?
