Import Duties in the USA from the EU

    Apologies if this has been asked before, I cannot find any previous reference. Can anyone tell me if the USA charges import taxes on good shipped to the USA from the EU? I know we charge on US goods coming in. Thanks in advance.

    Yes they do it varies according the to the item but all the information can be found online in a relatively clear and informative document known as the Harmonized Tariff Schedule.

    And just in case you weren't aware,goods exported from the EU to anywhere outside the EU are exempt from VAT.Makes a big difference in the price if you've got a US market for something!
