removing a sunstrip

    can a sunstrip be removed with a heat gun? is there anything else that needs to be done when removing a sunstrip from front windscreen

    ya a heat gun or hairdryer even will help get it off. dont heat it too much do as it will streach. you might want some good glass polish to remove any sticky stuff left on the glass

    Actually looking to do this myself, any tips as my sunstrip is quite large.

    Tardis, or WD40 should get the sticky off the window when youve peeled the visor off.

    Acetone (nail polish remover) is great for removing the sticky residue.
