Hi folks. Has anyone got any ideas how to get from the S.C.R. end of the Old Kilmainham Road to St. Stephen's Green by bus? I've checked the Dublin Bus site but not having any joy. What numbers serve that route, frequency, journey time in rush hour etc....... Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

The 51b, 51c and 78a will all take you from Old Kilmainham to College Green. Between the 3 routes, they're about every 10 minutes or more. No idea about rush hour journey times though.

Get the 19 bus from SCR to Camden St/Aungier St/Sth Gt Georges St and walk over to Stephens' Green. It's pretty reliable and you're near the Bulfin Rd terminus. Takes about half an hour.

30 minute walk. Straight as far as Francis Street, right through the liberties, pass north of Patricks Cathedral, Golden Lane et voila.
Bus will take you longer as you're walking Grafton Street, and the rush hour is variable traffic wise.
