    Hi,

    I have a question.....
Its about the social phenomenon that is wearing ones pyjamas/dressing-gown down to the shops at arbitrary times of day.

Can anyone shine light on facts about it?
Such as is there any rules to it? Like, is there any taboo about what time of day its not unacceptable to do so? What demographics are involved(only by eye-witness, and no xenophobia please)
Any interesting stories relating to it?

I heard that in Shanghai, or possibly Hong Kong, it is seen as a local marking of territory. A kind of 'we are local so we can wear our nightclothes outside' type of thing.

Just I always wanted to know - Ive seen it quite a bit in the Wicklow area.

    Cheers,
    B
