Leaving cert debs

Just for anyone that doesn't know what the debs are they're like a dance/piss-up in a hotel after the leaving cert! Ours being in July/August!

My problem is I'm not going with anyone but would like to go with someone! I'm a lad also. There's a girl that i went out with for a small while but we broke up for no major reason at all and later on she went out with someone else! They've now broken up for about a week and she has no one to go to the debs with either (I think :P).

Just wondering how should I go about asking her if she'd like to go with me? We get on really well by the way!

Just text her or catch her next time you see her and ask, before she asks someone.

As for how to ask, just be blunt. Best way to do it. Along the lines of "Hey I was wondering if you had a date for the debs yet, cos I'm still looking for someone to bring". She says she's free. "Ah great so, do you wanna go together?". Insta-date.

I didn't go to my Debs because I didn't have anybody to go with and I also didn't drink. It was the right decision at the time but in hindsight I wish I just drank!!!
