    OP this happens with nearly ALL frozen processed burgers such as Big ALs, Green Isle, Dunnes, Tesco and Supervalu all do them to in their own brand and they all produce this sort of residue.

    Better off buying mince burger/ butcher burgers.

    I was intending to buy the currently half price Superquinn burgers but found myself at the Ardkeen lidl (the other in Waterford is opposite SQ) I'd be interested to know if they are as fatty.
