Fairtrade birthday gift??

I'm trying to get a gift for my sister, she is doing a design course at the moment and is very much obsessed with ethical and sustainable fashion.

I know you can find some fairtrade lines in M&S and a few other high street places but I kinda want something a bit more special than that (also I know she hates those lines because she has said, how come all of their clothes aren't fairtrade, etc?)

Anybody know of anywhere or any brands that I could buy online? I'm in the midlands and wouldn't really mind travelling a bit for something special. It's her 30th birthday!

Excellent ethical fashion boutique recently opened in Galway, Beautiful clothes well made am sure would find something for her there. If you are familiar with Galway t is opposite St Nicholas church.

They do these really cool bags!

Take a look in the Oxfam Fair Trade shop on South King St, just off Grafton St. They do some clothes but they have lots of accessories and some of the jewellery is genuinely gorgeous, especially the silver.

Thanks, I work in Galway for half the week so I should be able to find it.
Thats the church that backs onto shop street?

Thanks its actually a really cool website!! Never heard of it before, their shoes are kinda cool.
(You know when you set out to shop for somebody esle but you keep picking things for your own selfish self?!)

Ok.. if you prefer to buy something on line than support a new business... than that is up to you. Personally still like to check out something before buy it, quality fibres etc. Shop is worth checking out.
