struggling for motivation need help

    :confused::(hi guys just wondering if anyone knows of a meet and train in the newbridge area ?i know their is a gang that meet in the curragh on thursdays and sundays but their 7 min mile guys and wouldnt be able to keep to that pace i started a 24 week programme for dcm but am struggling a bit with motivation ,any tips to keep motivated??

    Mate how are things.

    Yeah firstly.... the first few weeks are the hardest and you just need to get into a routine....

    Secondly, see if there is an athletics club... Even if you don't want to train with the you can still do loops round the track while they do their training and at least that way you aren't out on ur tod....

    Would suggest meeting up at the weekend in the phoenix park with some of the other crew on this but tis probably a bit far away from Newbridge!!

    Hope you get to the start line cuz thats the entire battle... You get there and you will finish it

    Also MUSIC is awesome for solo running.... Have been using that as I do a lot of solo training!

    IMHO motivation needs to come from within. Learn to motivate yourself.

    Hey, not a member but I hear Newbridge AC have a group that runs on Sunday mornings at 11 in the curragh that caters for all levels, you should get in contact with them and see if that suits

    i know what your saying tunney done a lot of training for hm their a few weeks ago but havent been able to get back out with man flu as my wife calls it feel like im starting all over again just have to get the head down i suppose starting monday .

    hi ronnie might do that i dont think they cater for all levels though

    cheers perkina points taken phoenix park a bit far starting line seems a long way away but i still have 22 weeks ...achievable.
