    ...and get a hoverbike. ;)

Interesting design, with the two ducted rotors. Only 9 feet in length too. Supposed to be able to climb to 10,000 feet (higher if you bring oxygen) and have a top speed of 150 knots. What's interesting is that even with a production run of 100 per year, the unit price is projected to be only €28,000; if he can get up to 1,000 per year, it'll drop even lower. You can even buy one off his web site (at your own risk of course).

That's deadly, I've always wanted to have my own gyrocopter, this is probably close enough tbh.

Yes, that's one disadvantage. Over in the USA, no pilots' licence necessary for "ultralight" aircraft (which this would fall under); I think that's where this fellow's trying to target.

Looks to me like fuel economy's down at 14 mpg, which I figured out from dividing his stated range by fuel capacity; some would argue the "straight-line factor" and turn that estimate to about 21 mpg. That's better than much larger helicopters (most are about half that, many are lower due to having gas turbine engines); the motor's driving two rotors at rather high speeds after all.

Nice bit of kit. They must have got the idea from the Osprey.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
