Not all players were released. Alot just had contracts that expired or refused to sign new ones such as Elmander at Bolton.

I say with the right manager they could stay in the premier league.

Id say they'd need one hell of a physio too, but its a good team none the less. There is also lots of choice in there, I left out a number of players like Gudjohnsen, Sonko, Osbourne who could add so much dept.

Wouldnt mind a Football Manager patch with the released players on one team :P

Bones of a decent side if you could keep Woodgate & Hargreaves fit for 10 mins, even without including retirees.

He has a year left on his contract, I believe he has been told he can go. He may choose to hang on though, I believe he has a favourable contract.
