Firstly. This thread does not condone nor promote the possibly illegal activity of writing funny messages on money.

But if someone was to write a tiny tiny message or draw a little cartoon (other than an erection or boobage) on a 5, 10, 20, 50 euro note what should..i mean what would be something good to draw.

    suggestions...i mean answers below.

I ask because of some shocking examples ive seen online of the dollar bill having been defaced so that the pics of g washington, jefferson etc. some had been altered to look like batman, osama or even shockingly coloured in to look like an oompa loompa.

(dammit the dollar is so much better. why oh why couldnt they put irish politicians on euro notes.)

Please use this note to purchase silver and demand delivery before the euro as a currency fails.

Put an X somewhere on the continent on the little map on it, and an arrow pointing to it with "Treasure here" beside it.

Good thing too. Some fucking mod would run in here and lock the thread otherwise. Probably will eventually anyway. Back on topic, yeah money, cash - euros.

If I give you my bank details and mothers maiden name you could withdraw them yourself and we could save soooo much on postage.

Wouldn't it be great to get a €5 note and put two zero's after the 5 to make it a €500.

That's what writing on money should be like....

There was a strange girl in my class in secondary school who would write her phone number on £5 notes so that she'd get calls from random weirdos....

My kind of defacement would be more along the lines of a big fat spliff sticking out of James Joyce's mouth. :o

Euros don't have the same "comedy" potential.

Very old fashioned - that idea is 3000 years old.

It'll be taken out of circulation once it hits a bank, new ECB rules on banknote quality. Sorry to ruin your game.

I always get slightly sad when I am looking at my last €20 and someone, probably from some bank or post office, has written €500 there in pen.

    Tease.

whereas, if you drew a pussy, you'd be looking at a tradition 20,000 years old
...the first expressions of art in Europe appear to be female sexual symbols, stylized vulvae engraved in rock by the Cro-Magnon people.... These signs have also been found on carved ivory as far as Ukraine (c. 18′000-15′000 B.C.)

My Dad is a Republican and when we lived in England would sometimes deface bank notes by giving the queen a moustache if he had a pen to hand. This ranged from a modest Hitler creation right up to a luxuriant Kitchener job, the latter presumably in times of particularly intense moments of anti-monarchical pique.

He also sometimes let me do it which I really enjoyed.

He also showed me how to fold the bank note over so that the line of the Queen's jaw looked just like an arse.

We used to fold up the old Cúig Punt notes to make a rude word:P

As a previous poster said, they're taken out of circulation once they get to a bank, sadly.
