    as long as the interface has an XLR input the mic will work.

    no idea what sam broadcaster is but if it accepts "audio in" and will work with an external interface, there's no reason for it not to work.

    I'm not totally sure, the sm7b is a total gain hog, and the preamp needs to have quite a lot of gain, roughly 45db at least.

    Setting that box at maximum gain is a good thing, like all low cost mic pre amps it's noisy at lower gain settings.
