I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any good exfoliators. I normally get spots when I use one but a woman that gave me a facial a while ago said this was because I wasnt using a good one. She told me to use a Dermalogica one but I suppose thats because she was trying to sell it to me! Dont know if that would be the best or if anyone can recommend a good daily one. Thanks

Dermalogica is actually a really good brand and they sell very good products. The girl giving you the facial was giving you good advice.

I use the Dermalogica microfoliant and find it excellent. It is a bit dear but I think it's worth it.
Go to a salon that sells Dermalogica and ask for face mapping. They can see what products suit your skin best.

I use dermalogica daily microfoliant thats the one you can use everyday. I also have another one I would only use once a month or so its the age smart mutivitamin therofoliant its strong but I find it very good.

Did your beautician recommend exact products? If not go to a salon that sells it and ask for your face mapping to be done. The local salon did mine for free it was great. I don;t buy mine from them as its cheaper online. I buy it at www.beautyflash.co.uk I have no connection to the site I just am a happy customer. They give you free samples with every order and I have found thats brilliant for trying out new products before splashing out.

I use the St.Ives Apricot one for sensitive skin and I absolutely love it.
It's pretty gentle and my skin feels so great after it and products sink in better. It's one of the best things I've found in a while that doesn't cost a lot.

Edit: I think you can purchase the trial size in Boots :)

For those of you looking for the natural and cheap option just scoop out the insides of a kiwi....works a treat!;)

Thanks very much. I think the daily microfoliant one was the one she recommended. Just wanted to check it was worth it before I bought it. I tried St Ives years ago and it didnt really suit me, think my skin is a bit sensitive. Thanks for the website tip, was wondering if I could get the Dermalogica one cheaper somewhere!
