Anyone know why Dublin Athletic Board do not post results of their Juvenile Track & Field Championships???????

Strange, considering every other province does:rolleyes:

Nothing new there then. Strange as their general organisation is first class there always seems an aversion to putting anything of use on their website.

Would agree that they are very slow in posting results, hardly ever have their results up pior to All-Ireland's.

It's a conspiracy, pity for the athletes though that they don't get their achievements published by their own County Board !!!! Is it all about the winning then ?

It just seems to me that DAB don't have anyone that interested in keeping the website up to date and running smoothly. They're not the only organisation that suffers credibility problems for this reason. As I said above it's a pity because for example (1) their organisation of the graded meets and indeed the various junior/juvenile events are exemplary and (2) their technical officials are excellent and hard working.

But you're right - the young athletes love to see their names up there, win or lose. Also it's important for coaches and parents to know the results for development purposes and for the practical matter of knowing who has qualified to go forward to the All-Irelands.

And it's something that is so easily fixed with a bit of resolve from those in charge.
