    I've been watching the progress on this one myself but the cost is ridiculous. Also the proposed route from what I've seen doesn't actually go anywhere near NY but skirts around the edge. Cant really see NY shutting down for 17hrs for an IM. Also multiple swim wave starts with those starting in the water waves befitting from the tide. I'm sure it'll sell out in seconds given that the average salary of a IM competitor is €160k according to the WTC.

    Newyork tris are expensive anyway.. NYC oly is about $400 I think

    Sold out in 14 mins...I guess all WTC events will get nudged up again as they test the elasticity of the global market.
