Buying a car - vehicle status

    Hey guys,

    I'm hopefully buying a car later in the week. I ran a check on motortax.ie with the reg and it said:

    Transferred to an individual on: 10/01/2011

    Notified on 08/06/2011

    Most recent vehicle registration certificate issue on: 09/06/2011

    I love the car and it's NCT'd till 2013 so that gave me some reassurance but is there reason to be concerned??

    What that says to me is that someone bought the car on 10th Jan, but the seller forgot to change the ownership until 8th June, Shannon issued a new VLC the next day.

    It wouldn't concern me as long as you've assessed the car properly.
