Not sure if I mentioned the 30 for 30 series of films here before, but ESPN Classics showing the 3 in the title, amongst others. All very good.

Yeah, I've seen them all, some are excellent most are very good.

My favorite is the one about Spike Lee and Reggie Miller,

Its Straight Outta LA and towards the end it shows the image of Ice Cube on an old Irish Punt note which I found slightly weird but its a good show.

Of course it is, was thinking of the NWA album.

Pony Excess on last night, about SMU and the death sentence. Film lacked fizz. The Reggie Miller one was good because it cracked along, you were almost drawn into the excitement of it all with the footage and retelling. Ricky Williams had an interesting story. The U and Straight Outta LA had that mix of great story with the off field stuff. Pony Excess was more pedestrian, it was kinda just about the money and business. Some good clips of Dickerson.

17th June one was amazing, but does anyone know has the Bartman one been shown? That foul ball seemed to have ruined his life

It'll be shown in October (well according to it's Wiki page anyway!)

I've also seen them all and by far my favourite has to be Once Brothers. Such a sad and moving story to it really.

It was a great series. Out of the 30 shows, at least 25 were excellent.

The one with the Canadian bloke with one leg as a result of cancer who tried to run across the country was very uplifting.

I loved the Four Days in October one about the Boston Red Sox

And god those yankees fans come across as right arrogant assholes. Typical New Yorkers? :pac:

To the Limit, the Tim Richmond story and The Best That Never Was both on this week. Simple straightforward tales, but what tales. Richmond's story was very moving.
