How would I go about making a complaint about a rude member of staff? Am absoultly fiuming with how one particular staff member behaved today. Is there any point in this if I write a letter will it be acknowledged?

I send a complaint and went to the ombusman and they just never responded no matter how much I tried to follow up .... they need to sort out the lazy staff they have at every level in all offices but firing some of them. the thing is because they are civil servants they are never held accountable for anything lazy bunch of people

I just got off the phone myself with the rudest person I ever dealth with in all my time going through the process of getting financial help. Disgraceful, absolutely no need. The shame of it is that I have dealth with SWO in two counties, housing boards, disability claims and all have been absolutely wonderful and yet this one person, is the very reason they all get a bad name. Wouldn't even give me the time to explain anything, couldn't get off the phone quick enough and barrated me as often as possible.

So I absolutely feel for you.

The OP's question has been answered.
This forum is not a forum for criticising staff of government departments, so I am now locking this thread.
