What would be a workers rights if say, a contract was signed upon joining. Few years later, rest breaks are changed from half hour (unpaid) and fifteen minutes every 8 hours, to fifteen minutes (unpaid) and fifteen minutes paid?

WHat does the contract say about rest breaks? Does it give the employer the option of changing them? If silent on the issue, then it is arguable that this can only be varied by agreement of employees.

Of course, this isn't legal advice...It's my opinion.

I presume you mean a 30 min unpaid and 15 min paid to 15 min unpaid and 15min paid?

Are you working any longer than you used to?

Look on the plus side, you're getting paid for a rest break!
