wow i just read that amazing they could,nt bury there poor mother/grandmother

I hope when the mother is infirm that she thinks about what she has done and the unholy witch of a daughter that she has produced and reared, who may be the one looking after her.

At what point did these heartless imbeciles think that they may have to realistically explain a dead body claiming cash.

Wouldn't this be better in the "Negligent Daughter" thread. Would it have been alright were the accused an accountant. The whole point of the original story was the mother being left to rot - not the pension being paid out.

If you abuse the system in a severe manner, they should replace your cash in hand with food stamps. No food stamps in grave cases.

Nobody should recieve dole for extended periods of time without a valid reason. You won't work? Why should the state pay you to sit on your ass?

Its due to childrens welfare that they give people dole money.

losers who dont work and have no income are going to starve,beat and neglect their kids which the state will ultimately have to look after and pay the long term price for disturbed,unwanted children.

I used to think the same as you but now believe that the country is in an out of control whirlpool where things cannot improve without radical reforms.

Please take this in the context in which it is written.I am not calling all unemployed feckless and negligent.I am only offering an opinion as to why benefits are paid to save kids from death and being taken into care.

In all fairness, I daresay that this is more to do with mental illness, than any deliberate law breaking. Just read a few more articles (from more balanced news sources than Sky), and it certainly seems that way.
