Radio add for Jetta

I often hear an add for the new VW Jetta on the radio, probably RTE wireless. The add says that the Jetta has an "overgenerous boot". Does this mean that it is too big? Is it the same size as the Passat?

I think it means the boot is too big relative to the rear seat space you get .
VW have been doing this for years.

Found out during the week that the Jetta is being built in Mexico, so instead of the usual 2-3 weeks from production to delivery, it's about 6 weeks. That's on top of delayed production dates, so the cars ordered at the start of May aren't due to me until mid September - cheers VW, way to launch a product.

It's VW marketing spiel for compact size saloon with large boot without calling it a Golf with a boot. Same went with the Bora and Vento before it.
