I've had bad experiences with the applause store. They release about 200 - 300% capacity tickets and its generally you need to get there 3 or 4 hours before it starts to get in.

To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me at all. There are filming it for TV/DVD whatever, and it would look a bit odd to have a half filled venue. The only way to realy ensure that it's gonna get filled to capacity is by releasing to many tickets.

Really? The last Jason Byrne one me and my mate turned up half an hour before the start and got in no problem, they had a sh!tload of tickets left, even got an aisle seat that i requested off the guy handing them out

We were turned away (in dozens) at that, about an hour before the start. No wonder you got in with everyone being fecked off!
