Will Apple Repair Hardware Damage on Jailbroken iPhone?

My iPhone started acting up the other day and can't hold a connection via USB, just drops it every few seconds and won't charge. It's dead now and Apple are sending me out an envelope to send it to them. The only problem is it died before I had a chance to wipe off the jailbreak so now I think I'll have to send it off jailbroken. It is a hardware fault, loose pin or something - will Apple refuse to fix it if they find it's jailbroken?

Also one of the water damage indicators has gone off but I've never gotten it wet bar a bit of rain however I read somewhere that there are 2 more indicators inside and if neither of them have been triggered they will fix it. Can anyone clarify?

    Thanks.

Found another thread with a similar story (I did search before I posted I swear! :D ), they all were saying that there's a good chance they'll just restore it without even checking for a jailbreak considering it won't turn on etc.

Read the email apple sent you at the bottom it's says if any other software is found on the iphon it will void your warranty if they run the test that is.

Is there no chance of hooking it to iTunes and restore the iPhone?? if you have tinyumbrella hit advanced setting untick the host file box then restore the phone.

Hmm just read it there. It says "any unlocking programs" and "inability to use your device due to unauthorized software modifications" which my problem isn't (I also bought it unlocked), then again they'll probably just turn around and say it's modified we're not fixing it under warranty.

If they refuse to fix it under warranty can I still pay them the €211 to fix it or do I have to go to a 3rd party do you know? Thanks btw

I don't to be honest.if I where you as I said try everything to restore the iPhone no matter what firmware it ends up on then send it off and hope for the best.
