I dont know if it will help but when I was passing Green Machines in Terenure I noticed that they are relocating and are advertising that everything must go at reduced prices. might be worth a checkout.

I don't know much about green bikes. Although I can recommend green machines in Terenure as I've done business with the family for years - they have a converted Fiat van running on the electricity, that I want to try out...

Also, punctuation is a wonderful invention...

Its really not worth buying a cheap electric bike,it is after all just a cheap bike with a motor attached to it! If you want something that will actually last and work too you should be looking to spend 1500,it is alot of money but if you invest you will get many years of trouble free assisted cycling instead of something that weighs a ton and needs constant repair.

i have been looking and as far as i can see even the expensive bike are jsut cheap bikes its just the motor is a bit neater but i have been looking at the motors to and as far as i can see they are ok it is just the batteries that are rubbish hence the low distance like very few company are even using litium most are using nikel or lead acid

There's a place just off Pearse Street, http://www.electricbicycles.ie/ Not sure how they compare in prices though.
