We all hate 'First to see will buy'. :mad:

Just saw this quoted in the sale of a Suzuki Grand Vitara

"Make no mistake tis is the cleanest and well looked after jeep in the country"

I'm loath to give the muck savage air time but here it is:

In fairness looks a grand Jeep, clean, good tyres, and there's an umbrella in the boot which could be handy. If it rained.

He knows his market! "Shur if tis that well kept inside then we needn't worry about the engine. Fully serviced last week so it was, twill go 2years without me even looking under the bonnet"

the whole concept that if a car has its original tool kit it must be mint etc gets my back up.. "shis totally original laaad.." this person even includes a pic to reinforce it, although in this case the car in question does look quite clean from the pics

'Mint' is another. Mint as in leaving the mint.

We're not dealing with some diluted version of the language when it comes to buying/selling.

And that GV is by no means perfect. The pic of the park distance sensor displays scratch marks on the paintwork.

This is completely irrational, but some day I might just go mental on someone who keeps referring to MOT rather than NCT. Unless they've spent years and years in the UK and only just returned there is no excuse for this. I get a twitch every time I see it in an ad for an Irish car hundreds of miles from the border to Norn Ieland.
