Is there an easy way to check vodafone date usage?

    90% of the time when trying to check my data usage on vodafone.ie i get an error.
    Is there an easier way to check how much payg free data i have left?

    On HTC desire hd there is a sim tools app. preinstalled. Check phone and then balance
