Re-tailoring suits

    Hey,
I have two nice suits, but am after losing a fair bit of weight over the past few years, and now neither of them fit me. I don't have the money to be spending $$$ on a new one especially since I don't wear them all that often, so was wondering if there's such a thing as getting suits re-tailored to a smaller size? Obviously the trousers can be let up etc, but I'm talkign about the size in general. Can a suit for a fat dude be made into a suit for a not-so-fate-anymore dude?!:D

If not, anyone know where someone might get a cheap suit?!

There is no problem moving from a larger suit to a smaller one especially if it's a plain material. Patterned materials like checks and stripes can be a bit more work but still achievable. Take the suits to your local alterer. If you don't know of any nearby then (assuming you are Dublin based) there are a few on and just off Grafton Street/South Anne Street.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
