Replacement Ipod earphones/usb cable

    Hi all, I've an ipod touch 3g and the earphones and usb cable have frayed at the connectors so I need to replace them both.

    I use the Ipod for Voip so I need the little mic on the headphones. Apple's prices for replacing things are extortionate as with all things Apple so I was wondering if anyone can direct me to somewhere that sells them cheap or generic versions that are compatible.

    You could try those euro/cheap tack shops for the cable, you'd usually find them there...they might have the headphones your looking for too..

    If you're not in a rush you could also try dealextreme.com, but as they're based in china your order will take a while to get to you.

    Thanks, I'll try the €2 shop for the cable. I wouldn't really be interested in really poor quality earphones though, just something with a little mic that would be better quality and compatible with the ipod than the Apple ones. Preferably cheaper than the €30 Apple charge for theirs (which wouldn't be much better than €2 shop quality).
