I've just bought a LOOK LX carbon frame off ebay. Forks were already sold, so need a new set of forks. Anyone got any reccommendations as to what would be suitable for use with this frame? All advice appreciated.

Are you also this guy? You're also the guy who sent me a PM on adverts, right? The PM to which I responded with a long detailed and thought out response. No thanks or acknowledgement received yet though. [/rant]*

Apology and thanks accepted but only if you'll accept my apology for being a 1st class moany drunk little b1tch :D Congrats on your purchase of the microshift components. Hope you'll like them.

Regarding your thread topic. I've never shopped around for forks as I've always gone with whatever has come with my bike, frameset, etc. I've thus never installed one either. I believe this can be tricky and will require one of these. (please don't buy one from CRC though ;))

It'd be critical to know what size steerer your frame accommodates. Both the diameter and the length of the steerer being critical. You also need to make sure that it'll accommodate the standard wheel size. After that, some carbon forks come with cabon steerers whilst others come with alu ones. Decide what you preferance is. There might be yet more that will need your consideration. If so, hopefully someone else will chirp in here to let you know. If you want to be a weight weenie about it have a look through this list and get googling to find some good prices.
