IPhone 3G Stolen - questions

    Hi

    I had my IPhone 3G stolen today :mad:, i left it down in a shop and a woman took it (cctv confirmed this). I have canceled the sim. I have a couple of questions.

    1. I had a pin on it so what happens when they keep trying to unlock it?
    2. If they cant get into it and jailbreak it will all my data be deleted?
    3. I assume there is no way to track it if i didnt have any app installed for tracking?
    4. Also I rang the phone a number of times if someone rang it and they answered does the phone auto lock again?

    They'll hopefully have to restore the phone to get around it. Did you have it set to delete your data after 10 failed attempts?

    When they restore it, yes.

    If you didn't have Find My Phone or some other app set up, no.

    Yes.

    When you rang it, did it ring or was it switched off?

    Thanks... when I rang it it rang out. Not sure if i set the phone to delete all data after 10 attempts. Is that a default setting?
