KWA M226 PTP

It's $160 in America which seems quite reasonable as it seems to be well made from what reviews I've seen. It's a KWA pistol, I already own one which I am quite happy with, and it's also a PTP which I would like to see how it preforms.

I would be interested in purchasing this if I could get it for a good price like the American retail price.

Does anyone know if this model will be coming to Ireland and what it might cost roughly? Thanks.

I have been loaned a few PTP models to have a look at - Glock 19, M1911 Mark 1, M1911DS, M9, sadly no 226. Watch out for the review on Oddysairsoft in the coming weeks.

They were supplied by MIA and the retail price looks like €180ish. The first batch are already spoken for but at least you know they are available here. I've watched that Airsoft GI vid and the PTP shoots much harder than the standard model, as this is Ireland don't expect them to shoot the same as the US model, they will be <1joule in order to comply with the legislation.

I always have to laugh when I see pistols shoot harder then AEG's honestly I think the 1 joule is a Brillant Law
*On Topic* I'd love to see the 226 to come in but at least there is always the KJW!

KWA and KSC are the same, NS2 on the kwa and system 7 on the ksc are the same ( you will get shops mixing them up )

KSC is based in japan where as ksc was Taiwan ( know with a US office although i believe construction is still in Taiwan )

both system can be brought in the UK and Europe

Personally I like the sound of the greater realism, reliability and performance consistancy that is supposed to be linked with a PTP from KWA. I know it'll have to be <1Joule, but the fact that difference in consecutive shots power (as shown in the vid) seems less than even regular NS2 pistols, really looks nice.

Lucky you, getting to try so many PTPs. Didn't know about the glock PTP, I knew that there was a M9 version (tactical and regular) and four different marks of the 1911 (mostly just aesthetic differences).

    Thanks for the links :D

I found about the KSC/KWA thing before when I went looking for a spare mag for my KWA USP compact with the NS2 system. Didn't buy one in the end as they were a tad expensive and not too common. Hopefully it'll be easier to get mags for these newer models.
