Firstly i do NOT own a canyon yet, so I may be incorrect, but my understanding is that Canyon recommend a size larger, due to the geometry of the frame, other poster will clarify this so don't take my word of it

There is a search facility here. The OP will be able to find what they are looking for if they use it properly.

Their online sizing calculator seems to only take into account the inseam measurement, having said that the general consensus seems to be that it's fairly accurate, although I'd advise checking the frame geometry against whatever you currently ride. It told me to go for a 56, the geometry of the 58 was a closer match to what I usually ride, which is a 58 or large. Took the usual bit of adjusting with a new bike but it's a perfect fit. That said the 56 would probably have done as well with a similar amount of tweaks.
Be warned the steerer tube is not a standard size, so buying a stem to alter the fit can be problematic, although Canyon swapped one for me free of charge without any problem.
    Great bike, enjoy it!

I found the size fine, it suggested a 56 and any other site I used also recommended a 56. It was borderline 54/56 on the canyon site, depending on 1cm difference in inseam

    I :D my Canyon

I am 81cm inseam and ride a 52cm canyon ultimate cf no problems, if you get a bigger frame you will not get the front end down enough as the headtube is very long! they are a great bike for the price and their customer service has come a long way as well:-):D

I'm just over 171cm. The 50 was suggested to me by Canyon's bike fit calculator. I went with the 52. I'm glad that I did but the 50 would probabvly have suited me also, TBH. I doubt that the 54 is suitable for you (at 172cm). I'd suggest going with the 52. Better to err on the side of 'too small' rather than 'too big'.

    edit - Ultimate CF, btw.
