iphoto 11 and itunes keep freezing with the beachball spinner

    when i open them they are fine until i try to play a song or view a photo and then i just get the beach ball strange one

    any ideas?

    on 2009 imac 3.06 ghz intel core 2 duo

    4gb memory

    10.6.7 all latest software updates

    any ideas

    Try trashing iPhoto's .plist file (in /Users/<you>/Library/Preferences/)
