.. I have a deposit on a early 2008 car in the UK. I presumed I would pay VRT on the c02 emmissions , but now im worried that the car needs to be registrted after July 2008 ? whats meant by registered ? Registered in Ireland ? The date the car was first registered inj the UK ? Can someone clear this up please ?

    edit :

Under the revised VRT system the CO2 emissions of a car will replace engine size as the criterion to determine the VRT rate payable on the car at point of registration.
