Hi Folks, As the title suggests I need a nudge...actually I need a push..
I've done a lot of research over the last while, and have decided that Primal is the way to go for me.. So I was following it for maybe two months. didn't see any dramatic weight loss, but my clothes are definitly roomier and i felt great.

The month of may was very tough. Everyone in the house was sick. I work fulltime also, (study part time) and have two small children. Our house is BUSY..

I joined a gym and went hell for leather (not very primal i know) and ended up having to have physio (dodgy hips from pregnancy)

Now I'm stuck..and I feel like I fallen off the wagon..I haven't been to the gym in ages...I just seem to have a mental block..Its like I know what I need to do..but I panic and seize up...

I know this is a way of life and not a diet.. and I know that at the end of the day its up to me... but I really would appreciate some words of wisdom. Have any of you, had to reboot?? I don't mean to whine about having lots of balls in the air, but I've dropped mine...PUSH ME PLEASE !!!!

    P.s
am going to post this in fitness forum also.

Don't worry about not losing weight on the scales - muscle weighs more than fat so it's a sign that you're adding lean muscle and losing body fat. So well done.

It seems like you've hit the nail on the head yourself - too much too soon. But also, it sounds like you have a busy lifestyle and need to allow yourself flexibility in your training and diet.

So if one week you can only go once, just go once. You're still achieving something and keeping your fitness levels up. The problem with the "all-or-nothing" mentality is that it's too easy to keep "starting". In other words, you make a mistake, miss a trip to the gym and then tell yourself that you'll start back again next Monday and give yourself the rest of the week off.

I might be reading too much into your post. Is this what's happening?
