I'll be there with the Challenger & my brother will be there with his Bumblebee Camaro..

Was just wondering who else is going to be there... might be nice to put some faces to some user names

This is the show that has the €10/€20 entry fee for cars isn't it?

Yes, €10 if prebooked, €20 on the day which is expensive imo :(

Still great value for €20 There could be over 1000 cars on view.
Hope it does the business as alot of shows this year have been quite.

There would be no show without the cars so charging someone €20 to enter a car on the day is a bit much.
Why can't they leave it at €10?

So they will pull in around 10 grand plus on the exhibits alone? Nice little earner if you get more punters paying at the gate to look at them.

I can see both sides of the argument here but the way i look at it is.
Somebody or some club has gone to alot of effort to set this show up.
If they or a charity make a load of money out of it,fair play to them.
From my point of view, for €20 i can have a great day out so i am happy.
But i do agree, the cars make the show and without them there is no show.
Wasen't there a big discussion last year about exhibitors to be let in free of charge? What ever came of that?

Well, I can’t speak for this show as I’m not involved with it in any way… but when I was living in Australia I helped to organise a few car shows with my club & the biggest pain we always had was trying to guess the number of cars that would turn up. Preregistering was the best way we could plan properly.

I think that the 20 quid on the day price was simply set to drive people to pre-reg…. I know it worked with my Brother & I.. first show this year we’ve bothered to register for, simply because it was worth it for 10 quid off & the vouchers for some grub that we got to do it

Mosney's a good show. But be careful when you go, the traffic can be brutal getting in and out with only one lane really in and out of the venue.

Hope to be there Sunday, hope the rain stays away to keep the attendance up, and keep the fields dry.

Meself and 73D may go but it depends on the weather. As for the pay argument, Kilbrony next week is free for pre-reg (bit late now) and I think £10 on the day. If the weather's good a terrific show and in my opinion, the best in Ireland. Also most of the pay shows I have attended give you some form of souvenir of the day and refreshments etc
    :P

Bring your rain coats and wellies folks, theres been a steady v cold rain since first thing this morning. Great to see the cars out, but I didn't stay too long - got a proper drowning. Grabbed whatever I could pics wise, will stick some up when I get a chance.

That rotten weather put me off going, and now it's clearing. But it's too late to head there now. Bloody typical. Hope Terenure is dry anyway.

There was a small break, I was nearly gonna head back. if we'd yesterdays weather, there would have been a better turn-out.

I nabbed a few photos, best I could do with rain pelting off my face.. but heres a couple. My upload speed is crap, will fire up another few later :)
