Hi All, I have to get a new heating system installed in my house. We have to get an oil system. Could anyone tell me the best system to get and roughly how much it should cost me. :)

    Hi,

I got a Firebird C-35 back in 2007 installed in our house.

    http://www.firebird.ie/Products/EnviromaxCondensingBoilers.aspx

I'm sure it cost us e1200 at the time. I'll dig out the receipt tonight, but it's called a "condensing" boiler which is supposed to be 30% to 40% more efficient (burns less oil) according to the sales blurb...

All I can say is one service & clean a year and no problems at all.

    Cheers,
    Cathal

i fit only grant or firebird for years, both irish, good back-up, but lately mostly grant, check www.sedbuk.com or the harp database on www.seai.ie , cost about €1100 for a 50-90 vortex boilerhouse or a c26.
