Is it a lower front one? I have had a few patients in to see me who unfortunately have had the same problem. They have all have periodontal disease (gum disease) which has reduced the bone level to such a degree that the tooth is no longer held in place. You will need to see a dentist to see what can be done to fill the gap.
There are only 4 options for the gap I'm afraid and not all may be possible
    1. Do nothing. Let the socket heal
    2. A denture
    3. A bridge
    4. An implant

If you have lost it due to periodontal disease you need to get this treated so you don't lose more teeth. If you smoke you should quit as it's one of the main contributing factors.

I was at the dentist this morning, he said a crown would be enough to fix it, thankfully i have no gum disease. They have quoted 600e in total for a crown, including the consult, mold, x-ray etc...they have also done a temporary crown for the time being...is awful, doesn't match with my color of teeth but at least i dont have a gap on my front teeth

I was looking at fees in Belfast, and for a crown prices start at 350pund which is 393e...one place i found it has complimentary consultation, the rest you have to add consultation fees so i think is not worth it for me to go to the north?

    What do you think?
