Hey guys here's the latest!

Man of War II venue confirmed! Man of War II will take place @ the Helix on the 15th of October! Doors open @ 6:30, first fight 7:30. Tickets will be available from the Helix box office from next week so be sure to get yours! All tickets will be €30 and as it is numbered seating it will be first come first serve for cageside!

Match making will start this week so any fighters that want to take part please be sure that your coach contacts me! We would like to have as many clubs on board as possible to try and better a very successful first show back in April.

We hope the fight card will consist of 4 pro, 8 amateur & 2 junior match ups. So who wants to fight on this one??

We will also be putting another title up for grabs......Middleweight! Who will go to war for this title?? Keep updated here or http://www.legendsmma.ie, http://www.manofwar.ie, or check out Legends MMA and Man of War on facebook!

The regular comp will be finished by 6pm. The Elite comp opens it's doors at 7pm. There's a bar on campus serving food and the usual booze and there's showers in the venue so if you wanted to do both or come to the Elite grappling tourney you could shower, have some grub and do that.

Hope he has got a ground game then,making that statemnet because i think any fighter that had a decent ground game would fancy there chances with him. He may hit hard but he cant defined against a choke

I think pretty much every decent middleweight has beaten him really bar John Redmond who he's fighting in September or Chris Fields who is off to Cagewarriors. John Shiel would be a good bet though.

My mistake I wasn't aware that your other loss was at welter. nonetheless my point stands, the middleweight pool is small. I can think of only 3 Middles worthy of fighting for a title and they've either beaten you or are going to fight you or are on another career path.

I reckon Paul from ifs, John shiel would be the other. Actually the Shiel fight would be a cracker make it happen Stefan.

then you need to get onto your management. as you are 1-2 on the only website that matters

as someone involved in the game for a while and who has gotten many fighters title fights and contracts on some of the biggest shows let me offer you a bit of advice and tell you how it works.

if it was not for a title i would not be interested in putting forward someone like john sheil who is 4-0 against tough competition against someone who had 1 win against a 0-0 fighter. the fact you lost to a ww makes it worse. there is nothing to gain from beating you but a lot to lose from losing.

however if you can get your other 5 wins recognised by sherdog then it is a lot more appealing for me as a coach to match my 4-0 guy against a 5-2 opponent. you should ask paul hamill from your gym to get onto sherdog, he seems to know everything about everything so im sure he can help out.

...all that been said i have actually put john forward for this fight as its for a title and having a title will make it a bit easier for me to 'sell' him to other bigger shows. up to MoW to put it together now.

Cheers for the feedback guys.

Firstly just to say that there was a lot of positive feedback to have Henry as a contender for the MoW Middleweight Title as he has an explosive exciting fighting style. With regard to people's opinions on his strengths and weaknesses I'm sure we will just have to wait and see how it goes in the cage on the night .

I definitely had John and Paul in mind as opponents so I will be in touch with both clubs over the next few days and we will hopefully have the main event confirmed

As for the rest of the card we hope to have the first couple of fights confirmed and posted early next week.

As for your record henry Most of your wins were at C/Semi pro/Ama A rules(whichever language you use for the C class rule set) and arent counted towards your pro record. I thought your Fight against Kennedy was pro but lookin back at the thread it was under C(Amature A) rules.
Until Forsythe pulled out of CC I never actually realised how few genuine contenders there were at MW in Ireland these days.
Just outta curiosity is Andrew Manning still about? I havent seen him since his pro debut nearly a year ago?

Guys just want to stress again that this guy DOES NOT SPEAK FOR KOKORO MMA. Nor does he have anything to do with the club, other than being a vocal supporter on here. His are not the opinions of management or, as far as i can ascertain, the members of Kokoro MMA.

Big thanks to Fabio Viti for taking a fight today with only one day until Man of War II. He replaces Eamon Comerton and will fight Killian Glynn of Fianna.

Reminder all fighters and coaches: Rules meeting and medical is at 4:30pm sharp in the Helix. There are some tickets still available at the box office and will be on sale tomorrow and when doors open.
